Do you provide theory test support?Yes, we do. Your instructor can grant you free access to a full theory test suite called Theory Test Pro. We also provide theory test lessons (details can be found at https://www.overthehillsdrivingacademy.co.uk/lessons-1)

What shall I bring to my first lesson?You must bring your valid UK provisional driving licence and wear your glasses/contact lenses if they are required. (You must be able to read a number plate from 20 metres away).

How many driving lessons will I need?The DVLA suggests that the average number of hours required to pass your driving test is around 45 hours of lessons with a driving instructor, supplemented by 20 hours of supervised practice with family or friends. This is an average figure, Over The Hills Driving Academy is aware that some pupils will be ready for test more quickly and others might require more hours in order to learn the skills to enable safe driving for life. We find one of the most important factors is lesson consistency.

How do you keep a track of my lessons, payments and progress?We use an app called Total Drive which helps to keep track of: Your progress Lesson goals Number of lessons taken Payments made schedule of your next lesson(s) Please note - at this time we do not accept payment through the Total Drive App.
